Six months after the Penn State football program accepted harsh NCAA sanctions, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett announced today that he plans to launch an antitrust suit against the organization in federal court. The sanctions imposed as a result of the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal included a $60 million fine to be used nationally to finance child abuse prevention grants, a four-year bowl ban, reduced scholarships and the forfeiture of 112 wins by the late Joe Paterno.
